As a member of the Democratic Party, we have compassion for human diversity, promoting an understanding of all peoples, cultures, and perspectives, continuously aware of the complexities in our heterogeneous American society.
YOUR DEMOCRATIC CLUB
The Egg Harbor Township Democratic Club (EHTDC) embraces these understandings of what it means to be a Democrat. These understandings motivate many of our fellow Democrats throughout Egg Harbor Township to participate in improving the lives of all our citizens. The EHTDC sees itself as more than just a political club. We see ourselves as a community organization, where we put into action these guiding principles of what it means to be a Democrat.
Political Actions – As a political club, the EHTDC has been busy organizing itself to uphold our democratic principles.
- Organized a Women’s Rights Rally in front of the Republican congressional office in Mays Landing
- Participated in National Day Out
- Represented EHT Democrats at the EHT High School Pride Day
- Participation in democratic campaigns to continue supporting our democratic principles
- Organized a Veteran’s Rally
Community Actions Planned – As a community organization, here are some of the actions we have planned for the coming year:

- School Supply Drive for our community children
- EHTDC Scholarship Fund for our high school students
- Christmas Toy Drive for our youngest citizens
This website, like the EHTDC, is dedicated to maintaining and expanding the rights and privileges of American citizenship at the local, state, and national levels. Please attend our monthly meetings, usually held the fourth Wednesday of the month, held In-person. You can find our meeting schedule here.
EHTDC is active in organizing resistance to the radical right’s agenda. Please visit the Indivisible section on our website for more information about the organization. Protests and other acts of resistance will be posted as they occur. Many resistance groups are springing up throughout South Jersey. Please let us know of your group so that we may coordinate our efforts.
